It was chosen the discourse of biology of love to base our considerations, once it constitutes the academic point of view and contemporary humanistic side that better agrees with nursing approaches, besides divulging that the interactions of taking care of people should be permeated by the most noble human virtues, as love, care, compassion, respect and fraternity. It was concluded that people must relearn with the pacients and their relatives, since they are the ones to assume or commit themselves to the long period of homecare.
