Abstract
This article aimed at analyzing the applicability of the Complex Thought proposed by Edgar Morin to the pedagogic practice on the undergraduate teaching of nursing. The authors took their experience as professors of management in nursing, in Brazilian public universities, examined the pedagogic practices, analyzing and discussing topics such as interdisciplinarity, learning and knowledge from the perspective of the Complex Thought. Some theoretical references were used to sustain the analysis, mainly to Morin's work, French author of extensive contribution to the Complex Thought. This article points that this referential of analysis and comprehension of the pedagogic reality fulfill the contemporary needs for preparation of the nursing professional, allowing an educational practice based on comprehension, solidarity and on the linkage of knowledge. Furthermore, it allows the continuous development of the participation, citizenship and autonomy of the social actors involved – professors and pupils.Downloads
