Abstract
To identify the nursing diagnosis present the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA) among the dependents aged who live in a long-term care institutions for elders (LTCIE), was the objective this descriptive study, realized in the period from January to May 2009 in a LTCIE in Fortaleza-CE, involving 29 dependents elderly, that were used a Multidimensional Assessment. The technique of diagnostic thinking Risner developed 48 nursing diagnoses and 15 were more common for reaching the 50th percentile of occurrence, these are: Teeth alterations; Risk of falls; Interrupted in family processes; Impaired social interaction; Prejudice verbal communication; Intolerance the activities; Difficulties concerning physical mobility; Deficit Self-Care Bathing/Hygiene, Risk of Skin alterations; Risk for fluid volume deficient; Deficit Self-Care wear/get; Deambulation was prejudiced; Risk of disuse syndrome; Prejudiced memory and Prejudiced ability to transfer. Statistical analysis was performed using procedures and descriptive statistics were shown in tables. Participants were shown to need nursing care, from the recognition of ND, in these meet the particularities of each elderly and offer effective and quality action.Downloads
