LOOKS AT RURAL SCHOOLS FROM STUDIES AND INTERVENTIONS DEVELOPED IN AN EXTENSION CORE

Abstract

This article organizes results achieved in projects developed at the Multidisciplinary Extension Center for Rural Development (NEMDR), located in the Center of Human, Social and Agrarian Sciences- Campus III of the Federal University of Paraíba.  Results and analyses resulting from the implementation of the of two research projects and one of teaching, which were intended to contribute to the teaching and learning of educators and learners from rural schools. They bring into them issues related to respect, diversity and moral formation, including when using the following teaching resources: books from the New Sunflower Collection: knowledge and doing of the Field" and the use of games. Based on the results presented the relevance of studies and actions was noted, through projects interconnected to an extension core, enabling significant contributions to continuing education educators and the daily school life of these institutions, appropriate/contextualized to your audience – subjects from the Rural World.
