Pedagogical practices and scholar culture: a look by means of the school festivities and celebrations
Abstract
In this text we present the history of pedagogical practices and scholar culture in the Colégio Salesiano de Santa Teresa by means of school parties (festivities), school celebrations and the civic culture during the period that the school was linked to the Estado de Mato Grosso (State), and later, Mato Grosso do Sul (1972-1987). We believe that in the process of organization and production of the scholar festivities there is an interested and not neutral selection that cause inclusion, exclusion and legitimacy of certain social groups and ideas.
