Abstract

In this text we present the history of pedagogical practices and scholar culture in the Colégio Salesiano de Santa Teresa by means of school parties (festivities), school celebrations and the civic culture during the period that the school was linked to the Estado de Mato Grosso (State), and later, Mato Grosso do Sul (1972-1987). We believe that in the process of organization and production of the scholar festivities there is an interested and not neutral selection that cause inclusion, exclusion and legitimacy of certain social groups and ideas. In this way we understand the parties as a social, economical and political fact that made possible a historical look to revisit the past, to build interpretations and explanations and to understand the school by its inside

Celeida Maria Souza e Silva, Universidade Católica Dom Bosco

Possui graduação em História (1990), especialização em História da América Latina(1994), Mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (2000) e Doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas(2009). É professora pesquisadora da Universidade Católica Dom Bosco (UCDB), atua nos Cursos de Graduação e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação - Mestrado e Doutorado (PPGE/UCDB). Foi membro da diretoria da Associação Nacional de História- ANPUH, seção de Mato Grosso do Sul (2010-2012). É membro do Fórum Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul (FEEMS), vice-coordenadora da Linha de Pesquisa Políticas Educacionais, Gestão da Escola e Formação Docente. Tem experiência na área de Educação, Filosofia e História, com ênfase em: História do Brasil, História da Educação Brasileira, Políticas Públicas Educacionais e Legislação Brasileira.
