Abstract

The article presents a few considerations on the pedagogical practice of some elementary school teachers, focusing on evaluation, under the optics of the records of the activities in a period of on-the-job training carried through by the academics in the course of Education of the UNICENTRO University/Paraná. The analyzed material consists of reports from on-the-job training from five pairs of students, totalizing ten students. By analyzing these documents, it was possible to discuss some points of the pedagogical practice of one of those teachers who work at the initial series of basic education. The actions of the elementary school teachers, through the on-the-job training of the students in the course of Education point out a conservative practice related to evaluation of the teach-learning process, and some remains of power that the evaluation still exerts in school, even to small pupils. This analysis intended to evidence the complexity of the teaching work and the responsibility of the formative course when granting at its conclusion the degree of being permitted to work in Education, making possible the conduction of the education process and learning of a classroom.
