Most recent methodologies in Physical Education teaching
Abstract
The aim of this study is to present and describe the most recently proposed methodologies in Physical Education teaching. The investigative strategy followed was the use of a specific bibliography on the subject and the application of a questionaire to the proposers of the following topics: theoretical principles; object of the study; basic content; methodological approach; teacher-student relationship; evaluation. Open methodology, critical-overcoming methodology, contructviste methodology and critical-liberating methodology, are considered the most recent methodologies of this field of studies. In conclusion it can be realized that though using dissimilar theoretical principles the propositions have in common the idealization and the application of the kind of Physical Education concerned with transmitting and producing significant knowledge within the teaching process and highlighting the teacher’s role of posing problems and requering participation in all teaching phases.Downloads
