This communication presents and discusses the experience of Collective Health, Epidemics and Physical Activity Group, part of Physical Education College from Unicamp, in the different methodologies used in scientific work, from projects it has accomplished. It was intended to provide, for each methodological model analyzed, specific foundations for understanding the conformation of his identity, as well as an instrument for such action. The results consist of qualitative elements presented in standardized tables, locating the basic characteristics of these modalities. It suggests guiding questions for discussion, by a specific developed instrument. This tool can be a proposal for a diagnosis on the content of scientific researches, as well as methodological and didactic teaching of research methodology in applied sciences in Physical Education / Sport Science. It is a possibility of progress in studies of scientific methodology, especially regarding the possibility of using different qualitative and quantitative approaches.Downloads
