<b>Tiempo y sociedad, en el Real Seminario de Minería, 1792-1821</b>
Resumo
La industria de metales preciosos, oro y plata, a finales del siglo XVIII, recibió un gran impulso de la corona española. Para ello, intentó modernizar el sistema productivo de la minería con el fin de aumentar la recaudación fiscal. El Real Seminario de Minería (RSM) fue un engranaje más de esta maquinaria que tenía como objetivos difundir los conocimientos científicos, instruir a la juventud novohispana en las técnicas más modernas de explotación y refinación de minerales. En esta historia queremos llamar la atención sobre la vida académica.
Abstract
At the end on the 18th century, the precious metal industry, gold and silver, received a great impulse from the Spanish crown. For this, it needed to modernize the productive system of the mining with the purpose to increase the fiscal collection. The Real Seminary of Mineração (RSM) was a strategy that had objectives to spread out the scientific knowledge, to instruct new Hispanic youth in the most modern techniques of exploration and mineral refinement. It is on this history that we want to call the attention of the academy.
