As Transformações do Consumo de Luxo: Revisão Sistemática da Literatura Sobre o Luxo Não Convencional e Direções Para Pesquisas Futuras

Resumo

Esse trabalho consiste em uma revisão sistemática de literatura qualitativa sobre o luxo não convencional. As descobertas contribuíram para a compreensão do consumo de luxo, sobretudo as constantes transformações. As pesquisas abordam outras representações do luxo e relevaram novos comportamentos dos consumidores, como a imperceptibilidade. Além disso, foram encontrados estudos sobre a abordagens do luxo experiencial. Também surgiram novos entendimentos sobre raridade, enfraquecendo o papel do alto preço como limitador. Por último, os trabalhos elucidaram um novo papel para o consumidor, destacando seu poder de influência, agência e na significação do luxo.
