Mercado à Luz da Teoria Institucional: Uma Revisão Integrativa
Abstract
Por muito tempo, o mercado foi compreendido por meio do conceito da mão invisível. Porém, o advento da ciência moderna trouxe a possibilidade de se pensar em mercados considerando a influência de elementos subjetivos. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste artigo consistiu em apresentar uma revisão integrativa de literatura sobre a interlocução da Teoria Institucional e as configurações de mercados. A revisão contemplou a busca de artigos teóricos e empíricos nas bases de dados Web of Science e Scopus. Após as etapas de refinamento, 28 artigos foram analisados por meio da análise de conteúdo. Sob a luz da Teoria Institucional, este artigo discutiu como instituições diversas se envolvem com o mercado, de forma que oferecem, ao mesmo tempo, recursos e obstruções para sua estruturação. Observou-se ainda, quatro macroprocessos de estratégia institucional voltados a estruturar o mercado, que podem trazer contribuições práticas se aplicados por agentes sociais ativos na construção do mercado.
