Abstract

The text consists of an activity developed and applied with the help of Educational Robotics, a resource that can be used in the pedagogical practice of educators working with Physics. For the development of this study, it was based on works that deal with learning from the construction of robots. The latter, in turn, verified whether the activities developed collaborated to promote critical thinking. The target audience was 20 high school students from a public state school in Campo Mourão. The objective was to build and program using the Arduino, an ultrasonic sensor circuit to understand how a robot car would work, an important process for teaching and learning students. The results show that there was an improvement in the critical thinking of the students involved.
