This article explores the utilization of planetariums as educational tools to address the issue of light pollution. It examines the impact of light pollution on the environment and human health and discusses how planetariums can raise awareness about this problem through immersive experiences. The article highlights the role of planetariums in simulating the pristine night sky, showcasing the beauty of starry nights, and demonstrating the negative effects of light pollution. It also explores educational strategies employed by planetariums to engage visitors in discussions and actions towards mitigating light pollution. By promoting understanding and inspiring collective efforts, planetariums have the potential to drive positive change and furthermore sustainable relationship between humanity and the night sky.
