One of the largest available sources of energy in the rural and agro-industrial areas is the biomass. It appears in the form of vegetable and animal residue, such as crop remains, animal manure, energy plantations and agro-industrial effluents. This residue can be used by the rural producer or agro-industry for direct burning, seeking the production of heat or biogas production in digester system. In agricultural properties of hog raising, the readiness of this residue occurs, being characterized in a great energy potential. This work aims to determine the cost and viability of electricity production, using biogas as fuel in group engine generatorDownloads
