Critical analysis of mother tongue teaching
Abstract
Critical analysis of mother tongue teaching fundamentally presupposes making a review of its history in the school context from the ’60s to the ’90s and evaluating its pedagogical praxis of that time in the light of the supporting theory. Without any intention to exhausting the issue or to establishing unique and absolute stances, the aim of this paper is to recuperate its trajectory through a survey and reflect on its pedagogical praxis. The theoretical reflection is supported by a longterm three-level teaching experience focusing especially on elementary and highschool education.Downloads
