Reconsidering researches on the professional identity of English teachers in the Brazilian context - DOI: 10.4025/actascilangcult.v30i2.421
Abstract
An electronic bibliography search of studies on the issue of the English language teacher professional identity in Brazil is provided. Six texts with the established criteria were found: two articles and four MA dissertations. In general, the studies are characterized by identifying the identity representations of specific groups of teachers or society. Definitions given by four out of the six texts characterize teacher’s identity as multifaceted, unstable, non-fixed and socio-historical-culturally constructedDownloads
