Abstract
This article aims to scrutinize the relationship of the fantastic elements in Menotti del Picchia’s work A República 3000. Firstly, we will briefly look at some aspects inherent to the Fantastic Literature in Brazil. Then we will select some excerpts whose language are closely related to the fantastic world. The theoretical framework draws on Todorov and Carvalho. We will also consider the possible reader’s degree of behavior in relation to the aforementioned masterpiece.
