Cyborg without Organs: Bartholomew Kuma as a Nomadic Subject (A Collective Interpretation on Oda’s One Piece Manga)
Resumen
Considerar los cómics y el manga como objetos legítimos de estudio literario puede contribuir significativamente al desarrollo de la ciencia literaria. La ficción popular, como One Piece (OP), genera un gran interés; sin embargo, muchos estudios pasan por alto su integración única de texto e imagen, lo que lleva a interpretaciones incompletas. Este estudio busca proporcionar una interpretación colectiva del manga OP, rastreando específicamente la transformación de la identidad de Kuma. El análisis aplica la teoría posthumanista de Rosi Braidotti, en particular el concepto de subjetividad nómada. Los métodos de recopilación de datos incluyen lectura minuciosa y grupos focales de discusión (FGDs), con el análisis crítico del discurso como marco analítico. Basándose en estos conceptos y métodos, la transformación de Kuma se desarrolla en dos ciclos. En primer lugar, su subjetividad fascista está determinada por el proceso de edipalización del Gobierno Mundial, que restringe sus flujos productivos de deseo y refuerza una perspectiva sedentaria. En segundo lugar, como sujeto nómada, Kuma trasciende su existencia, percibiendo la vida en todos los organismos al desmantelar el régimen edípico dentro de sus deseos. En este sentido, Kuma puede ser considerado un "cyborg sin órganos".
