UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA

Abstract

This article was prepared as an integral part of the requirements of the Environmental Education discipline of the pedagogy course at Centro Universitário do Sagrado Coração. Given the scarcity of environmental education in early childhood education institutions, we address the need to incorporate effective teaching of environmental education for students at this crucial stage, where the foundations of values ​​that will accompany them throughout their lives begin. The main objective is to raise awareness and awareness among children in relation to the environment in a playful way. Therefore, a workshop was held with the theme “small guardians of the environment”. This action research provided practical experience at the school, involving the mobilization and significant support of the majority of employees. The expected results were successfully achieved, evidenced by the interest and active participation of students and the entire school community in the proposed practices on environmental awareness.
