Objective: To analyze the applicability of telerehabilitation in Physiotherapy, highlighting its effectiveness, acceptance, and main fields of use. Methods: A narrative literature review was conducted, including clinical trials and qualitative studies. Databases consulted online databases, considering publications between 2022 and 2024. Results: Eighteen studies covering different physiotherapy specialties were included. Findings indicated that telerehabilitation enhances accessibility and continuity of care, particularly relevant in scenarios of social isolation, chronic diseases, and limited access to face-to-face services. The modality proved feasible in respiratory, neurofunctional, musculoskeletal, rheumatologic, cardiovascular, and women’s health physiotherapy. Conclusion: Telerehabilitation is an effective and promising tool for physiotherapy practice. However, technological barriers and the lack of standardized protocols still require attention to ensure its broader implementation.
