A ABORDAGEM DA EDUCAÇÃO SEXUAL NO ENSINO BÁSICO: UMA REVISÃO E RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA

Abstract

Sex education in the school environment is essential for the integral formation of the student, from the approach of biological and scientific concepts it is possible to promote discussions that encompass the experiences and subjectivity of each person, observing the social construction of sexuality throughout history. In this way, this work intends to analyze how is the approach of the theme Sexual Education in basic education through the review of articles. In addition, an active methodology activity was applied in a school. This is a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach. As a theoretical contribution, we use the works of Eliane Rose Maio (2018) Gender and sexuality: Educational interfaces, Mary Neide Damico Figueiró (2020) Sexual Education: resuming a proposal, a challenge and Paulo Freire (1996) Pedagogy of autonomy: knowledge necessary for practice educational. In this sense, in order to reach the proposed objective, the contributions of sex education in the student's biopsychosocial training and the confrontation of sexual and gender violence through this training were analyzed. In addition, activities were carried out with students in the final years of Elementary School and New High School enrolled in the State Education Network, regarding the anatomy of the Male and Female Genital Systems, Contraceptive Methods and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), using the active methodologies. In this article, we report the activities carried out at Colégio Estadual Alberto J. Byington Junior, located in the city of Maringá - PR.
