Abstract
This article aims to presente theoritical elements constituing governance networks within the scope of public governance, considered a modern form os the State management. Such prupose is of importance, considering that the State opens participation to other actors – market and society – in formulating purpose and solving problems. To this end, the academic publication of authors who reflect on the topic of public management is used. The result shows tha the study of governance networks must follows two perpsectives: governance structure and network analysis. Such analytical perspectives must be considered in an integrated manner, thus addressing the functioning and contente of the network. The categories chosen for analysis in the forst perspective are: governance, collaboration, interdependence and results; while, for the second perspective: trajetory, interaction and learning.
