Abstract

The present work reports the use of the Altadir Method of Popular Planning during student training of Nursing Undergraduate Course, at the survey of and selection problems, and creation of strategies for its solution. It was noticed that the Community Agents that work at the Family Health Program had difficulties to identify risk situations and to clarify the doubts of the population during home visits. Consequently, the professionals did not fully accomplish their functions and the health education did not reach the whole community. In the search for the resolution of such problem workshops were accomplished with themes previously defined with the Agents. At the end of the meetings, it was observed that they were able to communicate with the population and to make a better use of their knowledge.
