The holistic health professionals’ formation: possibilities for humanization of the care

Abstract
This is a theoretical study that aims to discuss about health professionals’ formation based on the National Curricular Guide for related courses, in accordance with the proposals of the Education Ministry. The trends in education area, suggest professional formation centered not only in technical abilities, but also through relationship abilities development, as well as in attitudes and values that consider ethical-humanistic principles. The analysis of the related Curricular Guide allows to affirm that there is a strong movement towards human resources formation for health work, based on the ethical-humanist referential, contained in the essence of the document that guides the curricular reform in Brazil, consisting in one of the great challenges to change these professionals work and, consequently the entire healthcare system.Downloads
