Abstract
To execute the actions preconized by the Family Health Strategy Program (FHSP), the health teams use several instruments, including health records. They can help in the development of the work, depending on whom accomplishes and uses them, and of the purpose of it. The objective of the work was to know the perception of the professionals working in the FHSP of the municipal district of Rio Grande concerning the purpose of the records in their working process. It was a transversal and exploratory-descriptive study, with qualitative approach. The study was accomplished with professionals of the FHSP teams of the municipal district of Rio Grande, in the month of July 2006. Seventy-four subjects took part in the study, being 20 agents, 19 assistants, 20 nurses and 15 doctors. The collection of data was accomplished through semi-structured interview and the thematic analysis was used. The accomplishment of the registers was attributed to the FHSP team (51.35%), and in the registration types the instruments of the Systems of Information prevailed (79.7%). As users of those records the FHSP management group was pointed (59.4%), and among their purposes it was pointed out the proof of the work (51.3%). As conclusion, the insert of the registrations was verified to be an instrument of daily use of the FHSP teams, which have as main purposes the proof and organization of the working process.Downloads
