Abstract

The reception is a strategy to promote changes in the organization of the workers´ health in order to ensure access and comprehensive care to all. This study aimed to analyze the view that the vision care professionals and users of health services in the municipality of Paranavaí-Pr and if this host occurs in health care and what are the factors that difficult its completion. This is a qualitative and quantitative research, and the study population were 12 nurses and 24 users of two health units, one for the primary health care and other care in the emergency room. The gathering datas was processed by questionnaires and individual interviews held from September of 2009. The datas were analyzed through pictures using an Excel 2003 software. After the analyses, it was found that the host's view of the professionals representing attitude of listening and accountability to the individual, but there was a certain distance between concept and practice. In the voice of users, the expectation of being accepted is understood as actions that express respect and good service. The results show that in the studied units, the practices to accept the users are not concrete.
