TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SCHOOL MANAGER IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
Abstract
This article focuses on school inclusion, as a teaching and learning opportunity for all students in the school, high lighting the role of the school manager and his / her training. The objective was to identify the role in the school manager in the inclusive school and to find out what formation is indicated for this practice, using the bibliographic review and the narrative review technique. It was found that the role played by the school manager in relation to inclusion is of paramount importance, high lighting his leadership, resource management, participatory planning and management of inclusive climate and culture. The data obtained reveal the relevance of formation, both initial and continuing, to encompass some basic elements such as there cognition of school inclusion as a right and appreciation of diversity. It was also identified the existence of gaps in the initial formation regarding the specific contents regarding the inclusion and the role of leader of the manager, in the promotion of an inclusive education.
