DRAWING AND ITS MANIFESTATIONS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
REMOTE ACTIVITIES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Abstract
During the period of covid-19, what kinds of drawings were children encouraged to make? What are the ways in which drawings manifest themselves in exercises aimed at children, in activities proposed at a distance, during the covid-19 pandemic? Based on these questions, this article comprises a bibliographic review and documental, of empirical and qualitative character, using as triggers articulations between Early Childhood Education, Visual Arts, drawings and creative processes, under theoretical perspectives of Visual Culture Studies. It aims to establish reflections between teaching propositions with Visual Arts in Early Childhood Education, in order to value the creative processes in art. Specifically, it aims to identify relevant teaching strategies to explore drawing with children of Early Childhood Education, even remotely. It is evidenced, in this way, the importance of valuing the teaching of art in Early Childhood Education and the training of teachers who work in these spaces, having as knowledge both the fundamentals, methodologies and theories about the teaching of art, as well as artistic references that can be shared with children, especially in the practice of drawing.
