Promoção da saúde mental de estudantes universitários

Resumo

A prevalência de transtornos mentais entre universitários constitui um desafio crescente, e a promoção da saúde mental desponta como uma estratégia essencial. Este estudo, uma revisão de escopo, analisou intervenções descritas em artigos científicos publicados entre 2014 e 2024. A busca foi realizada na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde entre dezembro de 2024 e janeiro de 2025, resultando em 777 artigos, dos quais 44 compuseram a amostra final. As intervenções identificadas foram classificadas como universais, seletivas e indicadas, conforme a tipologia da Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), além de incluírem capacitações voltadas à comunidade acadêmica. Os resultados indicam que as ações de promoção da saúde mental, com o uso de diferentes tecnologias e ferramentas, apresentam potencial para enfrentar o sofrimento psíquico nesse contexto. Conclui-se que as instituições de ensino superior devem adotar modelos de cuidado mental integrados e multiníveis.
