Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the resolutions of the UN/Unesco youth and their relationships with Education in an attempt to understand how to apply international policies for the group in question. The method used was a historical materialist dialectic, wich is guided in the apprehension and analysis of material conditions as determinants and understands knowledge as the link between thought and action. Methodological procedure, we use the desk research, using seven resolutions of the UN/Unesco youth and cornerstones of the federal government produced in the period 2000-2010. With the analysis, we found that the Brazilian government adopted and adopt guidelines for the elaboration of the national plan of action in relation to social policies. National policies for youth are constructed and applied not only based on the law and claim the agencies propose to peripheral countries measures and structural adjustment policies that can alleviate the condition of the poor and maintain the spending restraint of the state. And to reverse the situation, imply that education and employment are the ways solvers that process.
