Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the European Parliament proposal that studies the possibility of creation of
an electronic personality for artificial intelligences as a way to enforce civil liability. It justifies the importance of
discussing the topic due to the great use of these technologies in society, which consequently has repercussions in
the legal world. The deductive method was be used, and scientific production and legal norms related to the theme
were researched, enabling the conclusion at the end of this work if in fact there is a basis for the recognition of
such personality, and if it would bring the effectiveness that the European Parliament seeks.
