Abstract

The study has as its centrais theme the study of multiparenting and as the institute presents itself as a
reflection of contemporary family society, the concept arose through the judgment of Extraordinary Appeal
898.060/SC which decided for the inexistence of distinction in the ways of affiliation. The question that we intend
to answer is: does multiparenthood reflect the contemporary family? Analyze the evolution of family law and
judgment RE nº 898.060/SC. In order to develop this objective, the methodology used had a logical-deductive
method. The research makes notes that demonstrate that multiparenthood arose from a process of reconstitution of
the family entity.
