Abstract

The main technique of this work is the application of multivariate statistical analysis, in order to verify the importance of the variables regarding the performance and infrastructure of the state public elementary and high schools under the tutelage of the Paranavaí Regional Education Nucleus (NREP). With this objective, data were collected using questionnaires applied to all NREP schools, in three segments: teachers, students, and schools. Its objective was to raise data and obtain more information. The data were organized into a matrix for each segment. First, the analysis of the main components was used to reduce the number of variables and analyze which variables or sets of variables could explain most of the total variability, revealing the type of relationship that exists among them. Next, the varimax rotation factorial analysis method was used to obtain the greatest indicators in all three segments, and based on this analysis, the average was calculated among the pointers, which allowed us to classify each school in regards to its performance and infrastructure.
