Tetraphenylporphyrin complexes containing Fe(III), Mn(III) or Co(II) metal ions were synthetized , characterized and employed in limonene oxidation. The experiments were carried out in different solvents (acetonitrile, ethyl acetate or methylene chloride) and tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP, 70% in water) and sodium hypochloride (NaOCl, 30% in water) were used as oxidant agents. The systems showed high activity on limonene oxidation and low selectivity. The conversion showed dependence on the oxidant agents but it was lightly influenced by the catalysts and solventsDownloads
