Parque do Ingá (Ingá Park) is an unit of conservation located in Maringá city, Paraná state, Brazil. This research aimed to perform an evolutionary study on the erosive process that has been slowly degrading the Park, year by year, and compromising its use by the population. It also shows the benefits that came from some structures installation- gutters in an open sky, underground piping of reinforced concrete and Liner Tunnel - in some areas of the park. The area was divided in three sectors to perform this study, observing that one had been managed before (sector 1) and the others (sector 2 and 3) are inserted in a process of continuous degradation. It can be concluded that the area managed before had its erosive process greatly ceased, including the vegetation recovering, and the other non-managed sectors show the erosive process constantly developing.Downloads
