Abstract

We think about the human condition that pervades the works of Oswald de Andrade (1890-1954) and Walter Benjamin (1892-1940). We create a possible encounter between the two writers in theirs conceptions of the critic, the reading, the writing and reflection about others point of views about the reality. In their elaborations, there is no comforting conviction, but only the constant look at the life’s changes and the arbitrary meaning of the words.
