Author Biography

Denise Lino Araújo, Universidade Federal de Campina Grande

Professora associada da Unidade Acadêmica de Letras da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, onde leciona na graduação desde 1996, e na pós-graduação em Linguagem e Ensino desde 2004. Pós doutora em Educação, pela FAE/UFMG, na área de currículo. Tem formação em Linguística Aplicada, numa vertente "mestiça e indisciplinar", por isso fez concluiu Doutorado em Educação pela USP, em 2004, Mestrado em Linguística Aplicada, pela Unicamp, em 1995, Especialização em Linguística Aplicada pela PUC MG, em 1993, e graduação em Letras/Português, pela UFPB em 1991. Seus trabalhos de ensino, pesquisa e extensão têm como foco o ensino de português como língua materna, em especial no Ensino Médio, os letramentos múltiplos na escola, os usos pedagógicos da mídia, tanto na escola quanto na sociedade. Os exames de larga escala também têm sido tematizados em várias de suas pesquisas. Orienta pesquisas de mestrado e doutorado sobre formação de professores, letramentos e usos de mídias.
