<b>Notes on didactic and pedagogical practices based on intercultural education
Abstract
The need for research and studies on intercultural education is justified by two intensely growing processes, namely, international academic mobility and migration of families with school-age children. Current analysis discusses possibilities of a significant assessment practice of students' Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC). It also comprises recommendations for teaching and pedagogical practices for Spanish language classes in basic education. Discussion points out that assessment by dimensions Discovery Knowledge, Empathy, Respect for Others, Tolerance in Ambiguity, Behavioral Flexibility and Communicative Consciousness didactically transfers to the presentation and practice of the syllabus of the formal curriculum of school years, including the elementary school.
