<b>A pedagogia filosófica do movimento iluminista no século XVIII e suas repercussões na educação escolar contemporânea: uma abordagem histórica </b>- doi: 10.4025/imagenseduc.v3i2.19881
Abstract
Este artigo tem como principal objetivo efetuar uma abordagem histórica referente à pedagogia filosófica do movimento iluminista no século XVIII e suas repercussões na educação escolar dos dias atuais. Para tanto, são apresentadas inicialmente algumas notas sobre a gênese histórica do Iluminismo na Europa do século XVIII. Em seguida, discorremos acerca dos principais ideais do movimento iluminista no “século das luzes”. Na sequência, procura-se trazer a lume uma breve biografia e algumas concepções teóricas dos filósofos iluministas Jean Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778) e Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) para a área educacional. Por fim, tecemos comentários alusivos às repercussões da pedagogia filosófica iluminista na educação escolar contemporânea, especificamente no que diz respeito à tendência liberal de educação, ao laicismo no ensino e ao desenvolvimento da educação estatal em sentido amplo.
