REFERENCE IMAGES
VISUAL CULTURE AS A PERSPECTIVE OF EDUCATION IN VISUAL ARTS IN PANDEMIC TIMES
Abstract
This essay is a reflection about some worries with reference to processes of teaching and learning in Visual Arts, mainly in the manner of which processes find themselves at "shifting" before the effects of the biggest health crisis of the twinty-first century. Relating the ways of facing the Covid-19 outbreak, it has established new ways of interaction, implying deep changes in the educational context. In this perspective, we sought to trace some possibilities and fluctuations from the reference images of social media and the way they, unlike the processes legitimized by the school, are configured as spaces for education in Visual Arts, especially in times of pandemic. In this manner, the reflections showed in this work are placed at the Visual Culture's field, it conceives the images of the virtual field as cultural territories of learning.
