<b>Educational policies in the 1990s and ethnic minorities: The diversity project
Abstract
The educational policy of inclusion of ethnic minorities is discussed. Inclusion was consolidated during the 1990s due to the influence of international organizations in its formulation, spreading and establishment. Focalized emergency activities that underscore the need of acknowledgement and valorization of diversity are pinpointed for current historical period and the attenuation of poverty and the construction of tolerant attitudes for the peaceful solution of social conflicts are aimed at. Current research evidences the need of cautiousness with regard to the restrictive and hegemonic character of this policy and its projects.
