<b>INTERSECTORIAL APPROACH AND INTEGRAL EDUCATION: SOME ARGUMENTS FOR A NETWORK DISCUSSION

Abstract

The intersectoriality action is a present strategy on the directress of Programa Mais Educação, which structures experiences in full time education, in expansion on Brazilian schools. In spite of its centrality, the intersectoriality on educational politics is minor subject in academic studies. The purpose of this study was discuss the intersectoriality in full education context, to bring to the debate and  prize the importance of participation of all society sectors in discussion. The documents that supports full time educational politics has been revised and the Belo Horizonte city  experience has been questioned. The full time education programs present the intersectorial action as one of its prerogatives, in national scope, regional scope, and local scope. However, there are obstacles in achieving of this strategy on these scopes and the achievement of its goals is questionable. The analised documents on present study gives the knowledge that intersectoriality is a public politic that faces many challenges. More studies are needed regarding the lack of knownledge of those strategies impact on full time education programs and on students life. Also are needs adjustments to correction of repeating problems revealed in different studies. The Belo Horizonte city experiences presents in its directress favorable elements to the intersectoriality, among them stands out the integration between the departments, the extension of educational places, the valorization of community knowledges, and partnership with universities.
