Abstract

This article aims to address rural education mining, with the intention to develop some discussion around the projects on public policies towards education in the field, but also discuss the referrals given by Mines in the early twentieth century. Therefore, presenting the historical problems of the countryside is not just organizing more an academic exercise, but, above all, putting the rural and urban areas as distinct  and identifying them their many forms of "educations" in motion, and that so they meet the interests of the two spaces. Here lies, in my view, the importance of this analysis, to draw attention to the distinctions between urban and rural areas with their respective "educations". And on the other hand, is always worth recalling the elements that differentiate them, or rather, what issues are specific to these territories.
