Abstract

The research presented here seeks to shed light as has been the historical path of equality in textbooks in Spain from the study of the law, that every moment of this historical period, was conducted and the implications that this meant at the time. And besides, the analysis of the textbooks at all times the education authority proposed as teaching materials and preferred targets for compulsory education. This research is presented as a documentary interpretive qualitative study for a closer to reality. From this study we can see how it has been changing this in the Spanish educational reality, have emerged as treatment and increasing gender equality in Spanish education.
