<b>Representation and democracy at the ISEF from a gender perspective

Abstract

This paper aims to linking the concepts of representation and democracy at the Instituto Superior de Educación Física (ISEF) of Uruguay, from a gender perspective and make a brief historical overview of institution. Analyze and discusses particularly the recent history (Military dictatorship) to the present, of an institution which has trained most of the Physical Education teachers in the country.
