LEASE OF COMMON AREAS IN BUILDING CONDOMINIUMS
Abstract
The present study has as objective to be able on the existing possibilities and limitations regarding the
lease of common areas in the building condominiums, bringing an analysis under the prism of the doctrine,
jurisprudence and current legislation. Initially addressing the concept of the building condominium. In the second
moment, the rights and duties of the unit owners and the condominium will be examined, as well as the rules that
govern them. In the end, it will be a question of the feasibility of leasing common areas, as well as a quorum for
deliberation of 2/3 of the unit owners, in a general meeting, as long as they do not change the condominium façade
and the destination of the collected amounts.
