Abstract

This paper provides a brief analysis of the personification of the condominium and its right to
compensation for pain and suffering. This study is necessary, as, although the Superior Court of Justice
understands that the condominium is not entitled to compensation for moral damages for being a depersonalized
entity, it is not a binding understanding. In addition, there are cases in which depersonalized entities may suffer
pain and suffering, as well as a bill that seeks to grant legal personality to the condominium, in order to close this
discussion.
