Abstract

This article will adress the institute of real estate timeshare newly incorporated into the Brazilian Civil
Code by the law 13.777/2018, which enshrines a new method of acquisition and exercise of the fundamental right
of property. The law allows a time fraction to be acquired for the owner to enjoy the property with exclusivity.
For this, the research aims to demonstrate the main characteristics of real estate multi-property, passing through
its historical origin, its species, forms of creation and registration, administration and extinction. Thus, through
the analysis of doctrines, jurisprudence and laws, the effects of real estate multi-property in Brazil will be
demonstrated.
