Reviews

Reviews are critical texts that analyse and evaluate academic, literary, or technical works, offering a detailed view of the content, methodology, contributions, and relevance of the work to a given field of study. Unlike unpublished articles, reviews do not need to present original research results, but they must offer critical reflection, in-depth interpretation, and, frequently, theoretical contextualisation that allows the reader to understand the importance and impact of the reviewed work in the development of knowledge in the field.

In the Reviews section, critical commentaries will be evaluated by the editorial board, ensuring the quality and coherence of the published analyses. This section will prioritise works relevant to the specific field of study of the law of minorities and vulnerable groups, focusing on publications issued in Brazil within the last 4 (four) years or abroad within the last 6 (six) years.

Reviews must comply with the provisions set out in the Brazilian Documentation Standards specified by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), among which we highlight: NBR 6022 (Information and documentation – Articles in printed periodical publication – Presentation); NBR 6023 (Information and documentation – References – Preparation); NBR 6028 (Information and documentation – Abstract – Presentation); and NBR 10520 (Information and documentation – Index – Presentation).

Contributions must be individual, with only one author, who may be an undergraduate student, graduate, specialist candidate, specialist, master’s candidate, master, doctoral candidate, doctor, postdoctoral candidate, or postdoctorate holder.

Reviews

Reviews are critical texts that analyze and evaluate academic, literary, or technical works, offering a detailed perspective on the content, methodology, contributions, and relevance of the work to a specific field of study. Unlike original articles, reviews do not need to present the results of original research, but they should offer a critical reflection, an in-depth interpretation, and often a theoretical contextualization that allows the reader to understand the importance and impact of the reviewed work on the development of knowledge in the field.

In the Reviews section, critical comments will be evaluated by the editorial board to ensure the quality and coherence of the published analyses. This section will prioritize works relevant to the specific field of minority rights and vulnerable groups, focusing on publications released in Brazil within the last four (4) years or abroad within the last six (6) years.

Reviews must comply with the provisions set forth in the Brazilian Documentation Standards specified by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), among which we highlight: NBR 6022 (Information and Documentation – Articles in Print Periodical Publications – Presentation); NBR 6023 (Information and Documentation – References – Preparation); NBR 6028 (Information and Documentation – Abstract – Presentation); and NBR 10520 (Information and Documentation – Citation – Presentation).

Contributions may have up to four (4) authors and may be undergraduate students, graduates, specialization students, specialists, master’s students, master’s degree holders, doctoral students, PhDs, postdoctoral researchers, or postdoctoral degree holders.
