Abstract

El desalojo forzado en áreas urbanas provoca la desposesión permanente o temporal de individuos, familias y comunidades de sus viviendas o tierras, vulnerando sus derechos, sin ofrecer soluciones adecuadas ni estrategias apropiadas de reasentamiento. Este trabajo investiga los daños inmateriales causados por esta práctica, en diálogo con teorías y con la reveladora Escrevivência de Conceição Evaristo en su obra Becos da Memória (2006). La estrategia creativa de la Escrevivência y la obra de Evaristo constituyen el corpus y parte del método del estudio, al transponer a la escritura la oralidad y la memoria de mujeres negras, revelando la exclusión socioespacial, la informalidad territorial y la inseguridad de la tenencia en las periferias de las ciudades brasileñas. El estudio también se apoya en los aportes teóricos de Brah (2005), Anderson (2008) y Hall (2006) sobre comunidad, fronteras y pertenencia. Los resultados destacan la potencia de la escritura de Evaristo, cuya ficción/verdad desvela el sufrimiento psíquico, la pérdida de espacios identitarios y de experiencias acumuladas, afectando el sentido de pertenencia y sacando a la luz derechos invisibilizados.

Author Biographies

Geniane Ferreira, State University of Maringá - UEM

Holds a degree in Law from UNICESUMAR and in Portuguese–English Language and Literature from UEM, and a Master’s and PhD in Letters with a focus on Literary Studies from UEM. She works as an Associate Professor of Literatures in English at the State University of Maringá, both in the undergraduate program and in the Graduate Program in Letters (PLE-UEM). She is a member of the Editorial Board of Acta Scientiarum. Language and Culture. Author of book chapters and scientific articles published in several journals. She is deputy coordinator of the research group GEMUP – UEM and coordinator of the research project “Literature and the Diasporic Subject,” and is dedicated to research on postcolonial literature encompassing themes such as identity, multiculturalism, diaspora, racism, and Black feminism.

Antonio Rafael Marchezan Ferreira, State University of Maringá - UEM

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the State University of Maringá – UEM (1998), a Master’s degree in Business Law, with an emphasis on Civil Procedural Law, from the State University of Londrina – UEL (2002), and a PhD in Urban Law from PUC-SP (2016), with a dissertation on Forced Removal in Urban Areas and Non-Adversarial Resolution. He has been an Associate Professor at UEM since 2006, teaching in the Undergraduate Law Program and in the Graduate Program in Public Policies (Professional Master’s). He is also the Coordinator of the Metropolis Observatory: Maringá Metropolitan Region Nucleus.

Rosely Gomes, State University of Maringá - UEM

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the State University of Maringá (2000); a postgraduate specialization from the State University of Londrina; a Master’s degree in Legal Sciences from Unicesumar University (2021); and is currently a PhD candidate in Literary Studies at the State University of Maringá. She is currently a practicing attorney at a law firm. Member of the GEMUP – UEM study group. She has experience in Law, with an emphasis on Constitutional Law, working mainly on the following topics: moral harassment in the workplace, race and gender discrimination, racism, and social reintegration.
